Adult chat, one-on-one instead of a chat room
Adult chat rooms are crowded, anonymous and full of bots and spam. Unstrange is the opposite: every chat is between two people, live on video, with text messages alongside and nobody else watching.
You can type in every chat, and messages are translated as you write when you do not share a language, so a conversation with someone in another country just works.
Keep talking after the call
Add someone as a favourite. If she does the same, you are connected: you can message each other later, see when the other is online and call again. Your first 3 messages to each connection are free; after that a message costs half a minute, and she earns from it.
Real people, clear rules
Women who earn pass an ID and selfie check before they are paid. Phone numbers, emails and social handles are hidden in chat unless you both choose to share them, offers of money for meeting are blocked, and every report is reviewed by a person.
What it costs
Men pay only for the minutes they use, from a pack of 30, 60 or 120 minutes: $1.00 a minute in the smallest pack and $0.83 in the largest (UK: £0.80 to £0.67). No subscription, and minutes never expire.
Questions
Is this a chat room?
No. Every chat is private between two people. There are no rooms, no audience and no group chat.
Can I just text?
Every chat is a video call, but you can type in all of them and turn your own camera off. Messages are translated automatically.
Is it anonymous?
You choose the name others see. Nobody sees your email, phone number, exact location or IP address.
