Unstrange vs LuckyCrush: an honest comparison
LuckyCrush, launched in 2019, made random video chat between men and women a paid, per-minute product. Unstrange takes the same idea and changes the parts people complain about: who you actually meet, what it costs, and what happens to your privacy. The table is based on LuckyCrush's public prices and reviews as of October 2026.
| LuckyCrush | Unstrange | |
|---|---|---|
| Who you meet | Men meet women, women meet men; women pass an ID check | Men meet women, women meet men; people near you and in your language first; women pass an ID and selfie check before they are paid |
| Price for men | About $1.13 a minute in the smallest pack ($16.99 for 15 credits), $1.11 in the largest | From about $1.00 a minute, 10% cheaper per pack; local prices in PLN, GBP and EUR |
| Free minutes | A few free minutes for new users | None: you buy a pack first, so nobody is on the other side to farm free time |
| Subscription | No | No. Minutes never expire; an optional 24-hour Premium pass is bought once and never renews |
| Payment | Card | Crypto (USDT, USDC, BTC and more, with +10% minutes); card payments are being added |
| Translation | Automatic | Automatic, with your own language and country matched first |
| Beyond random chat | None | Profiles of people near you, booked private calls at her own rate, photo galleries, messages, gifts, opt-in dates |
| Privacy | Standard | Video relayed so nobody sees your IP; a moving viewer code on every stream so recordings are traceable; neutral name on your statement |
| Women | Free; paid in points | Free; paid per minute, with gifts, calls and galleries on top (see the For women section) |
| Languages | English and others | Polish, English, German, Portuguese interfaces; Poland, UK and Germany first |
Both services are for adults only and both are random: you do not pick a person from a list. If you want a specific person again, Unstrange lets you add her as a favourite and call her directly later, which LuckyCrush does not offer. Try it with a 30-minute pack; minutes never expire.
