Get paid to video chat, on your own terms
Unstrange is a one-on-one video chat for adults. Men pay per minute to talk to women; women join free and are paid for every minute they spend in a chat. There is no studio, no schedule and no minimum hours: go online when you like, from your phone or laptop, and stop when you like.
How you earn: €0.36 (£0.31) for every minute in a random chat once it passes the first minute (€0.32, £0.28 in the first minute), which is about €22 (£19) for a full hour of chat time. You only earn while you are actually talking to someone, so quiet hours pay less. Everything else a man spends on you pays €0.36 (£0.31) for every credit, one credit being one minute of chat: gifts, paid messages, your photos, and private calls at the rate you set (a rate of 3 pays three times as much a minute). At the top price a private call pays you up to €3.60 (£3.10) a minute.
When you are in demand, you earn more. If several paying men want to call you at the same time, your price for direct calls goes up by 10% for each one past the second, up to double, and you get €0.36 (£0.31) for every credit of the higher price. Example: a private call at the normal price pays you €0.36 (£0.31) a minute; at ×1.5 demand the same call costs him one and a half credits a minute and pays you €0.54 (£0.46). Men see the price before they call and it stays the same for the whole call, random chat never changes, and you can switch it off in your profile.
Getting paid: once you reach €45 (£40) you cash out by bank transfer (IBAN) or Paxum to an account in your own name. Earnings can be cashed out 14 days after you earn them, which protects everyone against card fraud. Before your first call you pass a quick ID and selfie check with our verification provider. It proves you are over 18 and that the account is yours, and it means every woman on camera here is a verified adult.
You stay in control. You decide what you show and say, and you can press Next or end a chat at any moment. Phone numbers, emails and social handles are hidden in chat unless you both choose to share them, so nobody can pull you off the site. Your distance is only ever shown as a range, and you can hide it. Every video carries a moving viewer code, so a recording can be traced to the account that made it. Report anyone and a person reviews it.
Some things are never allowed: meeting a man for money or gifts, contact with anyone under 18, or someone else on camera. Offers like that are blocked and the account is closed.
