Cam to cam chat: see each other, live
On a cam site you watch a show. On Unstrange it is a conversation: a private one-on-one video call where you both see and hear each other, like a video call with someone new, for adults.
You choose how much you show. Your camera and microphone each have their own button, so you can start with your camera off and switch it on when you feel like it. She sees what you allow and nothing else.
Private by design
Video between the two of you is relayed through our servers, so neither of you ever sees the other's IP address. Every stream carries a moving code tied to the viewer, so a recording can be traced back to the account that made it. Recording other users breaks the rules and closes the account.
Works on any device
It runs in the browser on your phone or computer: no app to install and no download. Allow the camera when asked, press Start, and you are matched within seconds. On a phone you can switch between the front and back camera.
What it costs
Men pay only for the minutes they use, from a pack of 30, 60 or 120 minutes: $1.00 a minute in the smallest pack and $0.83 in the largest (UK: £0.80 to £0.67). No subscription, and minutes never expire.
Questions
Do I have to turn my camera on?
No. Cam to cam is your choice: you can chat with your camera off, or switch it on at any time.
Can she see where I am?
No. She sees the name you choose and an approximate distance range, never your exact location or IP address.
Are chats recorded?
We do not record video chats. When someone files a report, a single still image is attached for the person who reviews it. Every stream carries the viewer's code, so if someone records you it can be traced to their account.
